Crested Bird Pin No - 3

These playful bird pins combine my love of geometry, bird, brushes and colour. Great for adding a little character to a jumper or lapel.

The bird’s head is made from sustainably sourced ash wood, which has been ebonised and sealed with a light layer conservator-grade micro-crystalline wax. The Yellow beak is driftwood, sourced from the beaches of North Norfolk. The timber has been dried, finished and sealed with eco-friendly varnish. The bird’s red crest is unused sewing thread from friends, neighbours and charity shop finds. Red linen thread ties the crest to the head and create the birds eye.

The pin has a simple tie tack and fastens with a secure clutch mechanism back.

Each pin comes in a Jane Sedgwick Branded box and a comb to help with aid preening.
