My Brush Collection of jewellery is inspired by a love of brushes and stems from research into traditional brush making techniques.

This pendant made from hand-turned sycamore and sealed with a light layer of water-based varnish. The brush fibres are reclaimed sewing thread from the sewing industry and charity shops. A mix of red, green, yellow, grey and black to make a rich melange effect. The knots of brush fibre are attached to the sycamore base with grey linen thread.

Dimensions of brush base: 72mm x 72mm x 35mm

The pendant hangs on a 80cm grey waxed cotton cord.

The pendant comes in a Jane Sedgwick Branded box and its own comb.
