My Brush Collection of jewellery is inspired by a love of brushes and stems from research into traditional brush making techniques.

This circular pendant is made from hand-turned sycamore and sealed with a light layer of water-based varnish. The brush fibres are reclaimed sewing thread from the sewing industry and charity shops. Black and yellow thread is combined to create a gradient of the two colours. The knots of brush fibre are attached to the sycamore base with yellow linen thread.

Dimensions of brush base: 73mm x 73mm x 40mm

The pendant hangs on a 80cm black organic cotton cord.

The pendant comes in a Jane Sedgwick Branded box and its own comb.
