My Brush Collection of jewellery is inspired by a love of brushes and stems from research into traditional brush making techniques.

This Rectangular ring is made from sustainably sourced ash wood, which has been sealed with a light layer conservator-grade micro-crystalline wax. The brush fibres are reclaimed sewing thread from the sewing industry and charity shops. The black polyester thread contrasts the natural ash. The knots of brush fibre are attached to the ash base with red linen thread for a pop of colour.

The brush fibres are 15mm long
